“Americans can be proud of the role our country has played in helping to defeat Qaddafi, but we regret that this success was so long in coming, due to the failure of the United States to employ the full weight of our airpower..” – Statement from Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC)

 

Obama did too much;

Obama did too little.

Whatever he does is wrong,

According to Chicken Little.

 

Success was “so long in coming,”

The Senators say

(I guess they thought it should have

Been over in one day).

 

Libya took five months,

With zero US troops to bring back,

Versus 10 years for Afghanistan

And 8 for Iraq.

 

Ain’t nothing new—

It’s just the same old thing

They’ll blame Obama

For anything.

 

Words of fire,

Filled with rage.

Is the problem that he micromanages,

Or that he won’t engage?

 

They’re never happy,

No matter what goes on.

Alas, the blindness

Just goes on.
