Inspired by Virginia’s Proposed Ultrasound Law Is an Abomination (Slate 2/16/12 18:57).

 

Hey VA Republicans,

Wouldn’t it be best

To make every woman who wants an abortion

Wear a scarlet “A” on her chest?

 

It would be legal (nay, encouraged)

For passerby

To pelt her with eggs

Or spit in her eye.

 

The woman’s doctor

May feel duty-bound to warn her

That her exam will take placed

On a public street corner.

 

If you want to humiliate women

Why not go all the way

And bring the good old days

Back to VA?
