Moral Rectumtude

“Moral rectumtude: Certainty of one’s moral superiority without objective basis. Synonyms: Assholiness.” — New Newsericks Dictionary

The right-wing attitude

Is one of assumed moral rectitude.

Assumed, that is, not earned

(Any morals but their own are spurned).

Despite their self-righteous bearing,

When it comes to others, they’re uncaring.

So they just crap out high-sounding cliches.

(Hence my newly-coined phrase.)

Thankfully, their supposed Moral Majority

Only represents a minority.
