Let’s Be Frank
Wednesday, November 30th, 2011
Inspired by Frank won’t seek reelection to House (Washington Post 11/29/11) and Fearlessly, Frank made his mark (Robert Kaiser,11/29/11 page C1).
With a wit that would make his adversaries wince,
Barney Frank wasn’t one his words to mince.
But Barney never laced his criticism with the nastiness one sees on the right,
Who seem to in cruelly attacking their opponents delight.
Unlike rightists, Barney always made his criticisms fact-based
(It’s also nice that he’s not one of many forced out of Congress disgraced).
The best way Barney for his service to thank?
Let’s all try to be more like Congressman Frank.
