Whose Side Are You On?

If you’re an Independent, or undecided,

Do you want to be one of the people who that soldier derided?

Are you going to join in their cause,

Or does their behavior give you pause?

Cheering for executions, and for letting Coma Kid die –

And you’d considering joining these people why?

And now, at the debate in Orlando yesterday,

Booing an American soldier in Iraq because he’s gay?

Are these people to whom you’d consider our country entrusting,

Or do you, like me, find them disgusting?
