Snowmaggedon
February 8th, 2010
Inspired by the two feet of snow we got, the liklihood that we’re going to get more, probably setting an all time record, and this video from the storm and its aftermath.
The DC schools are closed,
And the Federal Government too.
A lot of people
Don’t know what to do.
But me, I’m from PA,
And we get a lot of snow there.
Plus, I work at home,
So I don’t really care.
I like the snow–
It covers up all the crap underneath.
Things look bright and clean on the surface
When you can’t see what’s beneath.
Life’s a little like that too,
As John Edwards, Mark Sanford, and Tiger Woods demonstrate.
Things often seem great on the surface,
But underneath, problems await.
If you dig deep enough,
You find dirt almost anywhere.
So let’s enjoy the snow
While it’s still there.
