Inspired by Five Reasons Why Ron Paul Should Never Become President (Huffington Post 9/04/11) and Ron Paul’s deceptively diminutive appearance and the deceptively beneficial small government he favors.

Ron Paul

Comes across as small

Even though

He’s six feet tall.

 

If he’s elected

That’s how big the government will be,

Because, says Ron,

“I’ll cut everything but me.”

 

(That must be what

The Washington Post meant

When it said

“Ron Paul-sized government.”)

 

Perhaps Ron seems small

Because he’s slight.

Note to small people:

I intend no slight.

 

People small in size

I’ve never minded,

Just those who are…

Small-minded.
