Inspired by Rick Santorum’s speech at CPAC this morning.

“Why would undecided voters vote for a candidate of a party who the party isn’t excited about?” — Rick Santorum at CPAC

 

Why would voters prefer a candidate who the GOP base doesn’t excite?

How about because they aren’t all motivated by anger and anti-Obama spite.

 

I’m sorry Mr. Santorum of his conclusion to disabuse,

But Independents don’t agree with the GOP base’s extreme views.

 

Most Americans find those views detestable,

Which is why Mitt’s monotonous march may be unarrestable.
