“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it…These are people who pay no income tax…And so my job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.” – Mitt Romney in leaked fundraising meeting video
Mitt’s secret-video comments were cruel and unfair
To the under-appreciated Republican billionaire.
They suggest that Mitt cares not much more about them
Than does the average success-hating Dem.
What’s the point of making a big political donation
If it doesn’t get you special consideration?
But fear not, all you super-rich donors:
You will remain the GOP’s true owners.
Just because Mitt said he doesn’t care about the free-loading 47%,
Doesn’t mean he cares less about the job-creating 1%.
It just means Mitt temporarily
Cares about the remaining 53.
After the election, he’ll go back to caring just about you,
And continue ignoring that 53% too.
So don’t worry, rich donors, that Mitt your interests won’t represent:
He’ll always be the President of the One Percent.
Here’s the video.
