The way to which homosexuality is often referred

Is in fact patently absurd.

No matter what some people say,

There is no such thing as homosexuality per se.

It is not a thing out there you can be for or against–

The idea that it exists as some kind of entity should be dispensed.

There are only individuals, some of whom are gay,

Not because they chose it, but because they were born that way.

Homosexuality isn’t something to condemn or hate,

It’s just a God-given personality trait.

When you say homosexuality is wrong,

You’re really telling gays that they don’t belong.

When you call homosexuality evil, you’re saying gays are too,

Which says a lot less about gays than it does about you.

No, the question isn’t whether homosexuality is “equally valid.”

In fact, the question itself is invalid.

So don’t for that tired doctrine fall:

Homosexuality isn’t an option at all.
