Inspired by ‘You’re the same height as my wife’ is harassment? (Lonely Conservative 10/31/11) and Accuser’s attorney takes aim at Cain (Washington Post11/05/11, A1).
“Mr. Cain knows the specific incidents that were alleged. My client filed a written complaint in 1999 against him specifically. It had very specific incidents in it. If he chooses not to remember or acknowledge those, that’s his issue.” – attorney Joel Bennett
“I don’t know what all the fuss is about. All I did was comment that the top of the young lady’s head came up to my chin, making her the same height as my wife. I may have wondered out loud how high her head would come if she were kneeling down.” – Herman Cain (paraphrased)
Has Herman revealed everything he said
About the height of the young lady’s head?
Perhaps he’s about her and the public’s reaction perplexed,
Because he repressed (or won’t reveal) what he said next.
Perhaps Mr. Cain has repressed (or is concealing)
That he also asked how high her head would come if she were kneeling.
That’s certainly a topic that if with a female subordinate discussed
Would tend to fill both her and voters with disgust.
Here are some videoclips of Cain’s statement about the woman’s height and “a couple of other things.”
