Inspired by New Gingrich’s explanation for his serial divorces and affairs.
“At times in my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country that I worked far too hard and that things happened in my life that were not appropriate.” – Newt Gingrich on the Christian Broadcasting Network
Newt, I understand that when you’re in a job interview
And get the “greatest flaw” question they always ask you,
You’re supposed to turn your answer into a strength,
To do which you in this case went to great length.
You were “driven” two wives to discard
Because you were at the time working so hard?
You had those affairs because you’re so patriotic?
Sorry, but that explanation is just idiotic.
I’ve heard of wrapping yourself in the flag,
But using Old Glory to double bag?
Here are Hardball’s 3/09/11 and 3/10/11 panel discussions on Newt’s interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network.
