Here’s something controversial:

I agree marriage should be defended.

I support DOMA,

But it should be amended.

 

It’s a simple little change

So simple, it seems strange.

All you have to do is the

Words to re-arrange.

 

“The federal government defines marriage

As a legal union exclusively between..”

But instead of “one man and one woman.”

It should say “between two human beings.”
