Inspired by Palin attacks Obama,‘crony capitalism’ and Perry’s donors fare well, Texas style (Washington Post9/04/11).“There is a name for this. It’s called corporate crony capitalism. It’s not the capitalism of free men and free markets, of innovation and hard work and ethics, of sacrifice and of risk. No, this is the capitalism of connections and government bailouts and handouts… and influence peddling and corporate welfare.” — Sarah Palin
Coincidence? It doesn’t seem that way to me.
Though she doesn’t say his name,
Sarah was attacking Perry just the same.
Of course, she slipped in the obligatory attack on Obama,
But it was her jab at Perry that created the drama.
Sarah’s not ready to be dismissed,
So she’s re-positioning herself as a populist.
Sarah, this time you and I concur.
I just wish you’d be more specific about to whom you refer.
