Chanson d’Automne
November 19th, 2009
This is my adaptation of Paul Verlaine’s famous poem Chanson d’Automne (“Autumn Song”) for the healthcare reform debate. I had to memorize the (much longer) original for my 11th grade French class, and still remember it. Read (or is that Reid) or other wind-related healthcare piece here.
It’s Autumn,
And an ill wind
Blows the healthcare bill
Here and there
Like a dead leaf.
