Here are my comments on the debate between Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly yesterday on the “No Spin Zone.”

It’s usual with pundit – comedian negotiations

That one speaks intelligently and the other makes snide observations.

That was true with the Stewart-O’Reilly interviews,

But the two seemed their traditional roles to confuse.

Jon was full of figures and facts,

While Bill just made wise cracks.

Jon was polite and insightful

While Bill was sarcastic and spiteful.

Jon: I always knew you were brainy

(Your comedy is more cerebral than zany).

Maybe you should get into politics

(Though you were right, running with Bill to nix).

And you, Mr. “No Spin” O’Reilly,

It’s clear you think of yourself highly.

But Bill, before you exult

About this last debate’s result:

Jon

Won.
