When a doctor a botched operation does perform

He or she must be liable,

to the law to conform.

But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have tort reform.

 

Lawsuits aren’t the main reason for high healthcare cost

But they do contribute, and not just the ones lost.

So let’s put tort reform on the table

And try to make a deal, if Republicans are able.

On this one issue, Republicans are right.

But on the public option, let’s not give up the fight.
