Refudiating the Bard of Bristol Bay
July 20th, 2010
Inspired by Sarah Palin’s new word.
Already well known for the quality
Of her beat generation poetry,
Sister Sarah has taken steps to augment
Her place in the poetic firmament.
I have to say, it has a nice ring,
And the English language is a living thing,
Shakespeare made up new words too,
Just like Sister Sarah likes to do.
When it’s not enough to just refute or repudiate,
Then you know it’s time to “refudiate.”
That takes your argument up to a whole other level,
That is if we believe that Sarah’s on the level.
Some in the lamestream media have accused
Sarah of just getting the actual words confused.
Why subject poor Sarah to such unfair attacks
Because she makes up words like she makes up facts?
Obama is the Antichrist and Palin is Shakespeare—
It really does seem like the end times are near.
