Mentally Handicapped

Inspired by ‘Family Guy’ Mocks Sarah Palin’s Son Trig For Having Down Syndrome (Huffington Post 2/15/10), Sarah Palin’s response thereto, ‘Family Guy’ Actress Responds To Sarah Palin’s Criticism (Huffington Post 2/18/10), Former Governor Has yet to Call for Radio Personality to Be Taken Off the Air (Associated Content 2/05/10), and Palin Considering 2012 Run, Defends Limbaugh’s Use Of ‘Retard’ On Fox News Sunday (Huffington Post 2/07/10).
“I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line “I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska” was very funny. I think the word is “sarcasm”. In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.” — Andrea Friedman, actress who played the role Sarah Palin criticized. Friedman was born with Down syndrome.I have to say, I don’t like Family Guy much
(Too much tasteless profanity and such).
But I’d think Sarah’s criticism more justified
If it also to Rush Limbaugh applied.
Poor Sarah, once again by the Lamestream Media trapped.
It’s not fair to pick on the mentally handicapped.

Here’s Countdown’s 2/04/10 report on Palin’s condemnation of the “R” word when said by Democrats, but acceptance of it from Limbaugh and other right wingers.
Here’s the AP report, including a clip from the Family Guy episode in question.
Here’s Stephen Colbert’s 2/08/10 report.

Here’s a moderately funny Larry King interview spoof. The animation and content are good, but it would be nice if they’d redo the voices.
