Choad Rage
March 26th, 2010
Inspired by Drivers charged in road rage case: With baby in car, VA man fired 13 shots at truck, police say (Washington Post 3/25/10), Trucker charged with attempted murder in I-95 road-rage case (Washington Post 3/26/10), and Guns at Starbucks? No Problem! (NBCWashington.com 3/01/10). Are you inspired too? Then sign the Brady Campaign petition below.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” – US Constitution, Second Amendment “Virginia law requires permits for concealed weapons, but ‘you can carry one on each hip and two over your shoulders as long as it’s not concealed,’ said Prince William Commonwealth’s Attorney Paul B. Ebert.” – Washington Post 3/26/10VA let this guy have a gun?
Will they give a pistol to anyone?
The armed offender drives a Jag–
That in itself should have been a red flag.
(We all know Jag drivers are compensating,
And therefore prone to outbursts and baiting.)
The truck driver was obviously equally at fault,
But guns just make a bad situation worse, by default.
If the trucker had a gun as well,
They could have shot each other to Hell.
But what about the innocent bystanders that could have been harmed?
Is it such a good idea that everybody’s armed?
If people have guns with them all the time,
This kind of thing will happen some time.
More police also get shot,
Which in VA happens a lot.
That’s why officers from the highway patrol
Are usually in favor of gun control.
Add caffeine (or alcohol) to the mix
And you aggravate everyday conflicts.
An argument about who was first in line to get a cup of Joe
Becomes a bloody horror show.
Open carry?
Scary.
Visit VA?
No way.
