A follow-up to Blogology.

Here’s some new terminology

For our blogosphere morphology.

The part of the internet Tea Partiers commandeer

Should henceforth be known as the baggersphere.

Tea Party Nation, Tea Party Patriots, and many more

Have declared the political equivalent of war.

As we all know, they hate the Democrats,

But it’s with other right-wingers that they have the most serious spats.

They fight each other and GOP leaders

Who they disparage to their readers.

Like all revolutions, this one tends to devour its own–

Each faction thinks there’s no truth but its own.

Why a sphere? Though based on my earlier analysis that seems odd,

It’s appropriate, since they’re in large part a circular firing squad.
